Jimmy Jones Bookends

Below are a set of rather unique designed Bookends that were purchased from the estate of Jimmy Jones during his first estate sale of December 2, 2001. They appear to be cast from an Aluminum alloy and closely match the true form of a Victory brand racing horseshoe, complete with the appropriate markings, size: 7 designation, Reg US Pat. Off. markings, and authentically construction. These race plates are of a regular type racing shoe with a toe grab and heels. Inside the horseshoe is a horse's head tacked in a race bridle. Both bookends are felt bottomed and a label on one reads: "Bruce Fox--Hand finished Wrought Metals". They measure approximately 6 inches high, 5" wide, setting on a heavy base of 2.5" x 4.5". You can bet these bookends caught Jimmy's fancy from their authenticity of design. I will include a copy of the sale bill, a certificate of authenticity signed by me as a purchaser of this item at his sale, and any other documentation, I deem worthy of interest.   SOLD
